Moscato Counselling & Psychotherapy Services

Moscato Counselling & Psychotherapy

Support for women who are navigating life’s many transitions and holding more than they let others see. I offer a compassionate space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel steady and grounded. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and begin building a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and true to who you are.

MY APPROACH

Moscato Services

I hold space for women who carry deep, often unspoken weight.

JULIE MOSCATO // Founder

I offer individual in-person therapy sessions for women in Burlington, and virtually across Ontario who are ready for a space that is calm, supportive, and centred on their well-being. Our work together is designed to help you slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and move toward a life that feels more manageable and grounded.

Each session is 50 minutes long and can take place either in-person or virtually, depending on what feels most accessible and comfortable for you.

Individual Therapy Sessions

INVESTMENT: $165 / SESSION

You do not need to have the perfect words or a clear story before you come to therapy. If something feels heavy or uncertain, we can begin there.

I believe therapy should be as unique as the person seeking it. Together, we can explore concerns such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Stress and overwhelm
  • Life transitions like postpartum, parenting shifts, career changes, or grief
  • Identity, relational, and emotional shifts that can arise during perimenopause and menopause
  • Postpartum depression
  • Women’s issues
  • Work-life balance

My approach is flexible and integrative.

Support that helps you understand yourself with more clarity, compassion, and steadiness.

Who I Work With

I hold space for women who carry deep, often unspoken weight. You may be navigating pregnancy or postpartum, adjusting to parenting shifts or changes in your family, moving through a career change or considering one, experiencing grief or loss, feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day stress and expectations, trying to balance work, relationships, home life, and your own needs.

You do not need to have the perfect words or a clear story before you come to therapy. If something feels heavy or uncertain, we can begin there.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in our first session?

Your first session is a chance for us to go over the information in your intake and consent forms, to provide you with further information about confidentiality, and obtain your consent to proceed with therapy. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have. We will discuss what has brought you in for therapy, what you hope to gain from therapy, where you would like your life headed and cover some other introductory information.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

This is a common question. Therapy is incredibly helpful if you’ve been feeling like things have been weighing on you, or like you need someone to talk to but you can’t share with anyone you know, or if you have been struggling with symptoms of anxiety or overwhelm but it feels like it’s becoming too much for you to handle. Therapy can be a place to find calm, validation, and coping tools, and can provide a safe place to share without judgment.

How often will we meet?

Clients often meet with me on a weekly or biweekly basis. Research shows that holding therapy sessions on a weekly or biweekly basis leads to seeing results sooner. Clients can decide what frequency they would like to meet at, based on their goals, needs and availability.
