Perinatal Anxiety, Depression & Trauma: Therapy That Supports You

Pregnancy and new motherhood can bring joy – but can also come with emotional challenges. In Canada, 1 in 5 women experience perinatal mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress during pregnancy or within the first year postpartum (DeRoche et al., 2023).

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), have been shown to effectively support women facing perinatal mental health challenges.

I’m currently accepting new clients who may be experiencing perinatal anxiety, depression, or trauma-related symptoms. As part of my ongoing professional development, I have completed advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health to better serve my clients during this vulnerable time.

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in research. Whether you’re pregnant or postpartum, I offer a safe space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered.

If you’re struggling, help is available. Contact me today to explore how therapy can support you through the perinatal journey
